Sunrise! Sunset! Both amaze me! This past Friday morning, while traveling from Montrose to Pine Bluff, I could not stop looking at the sunrise! It is truly amazing to me to think that God created this, and the moon, to give light to our world. As I was thanking God for this beautiful sunrise I also thanked him for giving me eyes to see this beauty. We all take too much of God's creation for granted. After reading your message I have decided to try and catch the sunrise more often; it sure reminds me that God loves all of us so very much to bless us with such beauty!!!

The first time , in a long time, I saw the sunrise recently was at Shady Grove's Easter sunrise service. My boys were amazingly eager to attend and woke up easily at 5:00 AM. After a short service we all looked out to the east and quietly watched the sun rise. Amazingly, all 3 of my boys watched quietly. It was then I thought about the significance of the Son Rise.

Although not as often as I would like, I have gotten up early several times since then to read the Bible and watch God's reminder of the Gift He gave us.

My boys and I used to sit on the front porch and watch the sun rise down Union Street. From one of my son's room I could wake him up in the morning by saying, "Wow, look at the sunrise" We used to love to snuggle and chear when it came up.

As a child I would sail in the Great Lakes with my father, sleeping on the boat. I will never forget sitting in the cockpit with a blanket, smelling his coffee, and watching the sun rise over Canada. There is no better, more peaceful time in the day.

Sunrise is absolutely my favorite time. I'll take them any day and any season. With the First Baptist building, I just realized I will loose my view of the sunrise and it is a shame. When I die I hope to be watching the sun rise.

Now that the sun rises early, I see the sun coming up every morning. I should stop to enjoy it more, though.

Being a bass fisherman, I have enjoyed the beauty of many sunrises on Lake Monticello. The only thing equal to them are the sunsets! It is then that I often
times lay down my rod and reel just to soak in these beautiful masterpieces that God has painted for us and say "God.....you done good!!"
